He founded Work Structuring Limited in 1986 and started to use the principles and methodology, (Work Structuring), that resulted from his research to assist in the organisational renewal of wide range of businesses and organisations with remarkable success.
Christian is the son of E.F. Schumacher; the groundbreaking economist who wrote 'Small is Beautiful'. In this book he talked about needing to achieve smallness within large organisations for them to be efficient and developed a theory of large-scale organisation. Christian's work has similar ideals at its centre, although developed in a different way.
Christian is the author of two books on work organisation and its impact on modern society.
